Every birth I am given the permission to attend, is an absolute honor and privilege. When a couple agrees to allow me into their private space, to document some of their most intimate moments as a family, then this is a responsibility I can not and do not take lightly. For my first post on here, I thought I would give you an idea of examples of my previous birth stories. While you will see a number of stories by following this link here, remember, not every family is comfortable with me sharing their story with the world, and that is ABSOLUTELY okay. Ultimately, the birth of your child/children is a private occasion, and the comfort of my clients is of the utmost importance. I will always ask permission to share and may get permission to share a small sample of images, but not everything, and that is also okay. 

Remember, any good photographer will not sacrifice the relationship with their client for a little bit of publicity. It is your right to have the level of privacy you desire, and it is my job to make sure this happens for you.

I have created this website as a resource for expecting couples to familiarize themselves with birth, birth photography and everything that goes along with it. This journal will be home for tips, resources, and articles about labor, delivery and the postpartum period, as I come across them. I will also be occasionally sharing birth stories from births that I have had the privilege of attending.
